nerdslant Plays – Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series (Ep. 1)

Still got that Guardians of the Galaxy itch in need of a scratch after seeing Volume 2 for the umpteenth time in theaters? Telltale Games’ got you covered. From the people who brought you choose-your-own-adventure adaptations of Game of ThronesThe Walking DeadBatman, and Borderlands comes Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series.

Episode one, titled “Tangled Up in Blue”, came out back in mid-April but fell under the radar what with all the clamoring anticipation for James Gunn’s newest Marvel Cinematic Universe entry. That being said, the writing is hilariously on-point with its silver screen big sibling, boasts a pretty rockin’ soundtrack, and is in its own right an interesting story. Best of all, the Crowd Play multiplayer feature Telltale Games added back in 2016 allows groups of friends to play together. Time for Marvel drinking games, a-holes!

Check out our Let’s Play below and be sure to keep an eye out for our playthrough of episode two, “Under Pressure”,  which comes out June 6th.
